Judicial Political Murder of President Asif Ali Zardari - Role Of Nawaz Sharif & Implications For the Federation?

By Sikander Hayat

Asif Ali Zardari is the democratically elected president of Pakistan. People of Pakistan knew about the NRO but still voted for his party. People like Khwaja Asif of Muslim League (Nawaz) are being hypocritical by asking for Mr Zardari’s resignation because his own party leaders were dismissed twice for corruption in the importing of scrap metal and unfair use of power. The same Nawaz Sharif who is untiring in his demands for the rule of law ordered the attack on Supreme Court of Justice Sajjad Ali Shah when his party member on his orders attacked to stop a hearing of a case about the misuse of powers.
People like Khawaja Asif must understand that even though his party leader is a billionaire, he still pays about 5000 rupees worth of tax.

If Zardari is a crook, than they all are and Sharif brothers are anything but innocent.
People who talk about the removal of Asif Ali Zardari must understand is that they are playing with fire by making demands of him and his party which are totally unjust and undemocratic. There is no higher court than the court of people and the people of Pakistan have given Mr Asif Ali Zardari and his party mandate
to govern for five years. This mandate must be respected for the sake of Pakistan because any forcible removal will tell the smaller provinces that they have no place in the federation.
Please remember what happened last time when the mandate of people was not respected. East Pakistan became Bangladesh so
please open your eyes and don’t let this travesty happen again.
I say to the short sighted people of Muslim League ( Nawaz) to open their eyes and make the right choices. This is a very important time and every decision counts. Let that be the right decision.

India: The Terrorists Within

A day after major Indian cities were placed on high alert following blasts in the IT city of Bangalore, as many as 17 blasts ripped through Ahmedabad, capital of the affluent western Indian state of Gujarat . Some 30 people were killed, some at hospitals where bombs were timed to go off when the injured from other blasts were being brought in. (Later, in Surat, a center for the world's diamond industry, a bomb was defused near a hospital and two cars packed with explosives were found in in the city's outskirts.) Investigators pointed fingers at the usual Islamist suspects: Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Bangladesh- based Harkat-ul Jihadi Islami (HUJI) and the indigenous Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). But even as the police searched for clues, the Ahmedabad attacks were owned up by a group calling itself the " Indian Mujahideen. " Several TV news stations received an email five minutes before the first blasts in Ahmedabad. The message repo
