Eurostar Shuts Down Due to Snow - Why UK Is Unprepared Against Snowfall?

By Sikander Hayat United Kingdom is not prepared at all for any sort of snowfall at all. It evident from the gridlocks at roads, cancellation of flights and Eurostar debacle . It happens every year anytime there is a bit of snowfall . The economy suffers and accidents happen. North America where the snowfall happens at an entirely different level cope with it much better then here in UK. The government must devise plans to tackle this problem and take whatever measures are necessary to stop this from happening every time there is a snow flake in the air.

An Islamic Renaissance In Central Asia

By Sikander Hayat Islam is by no means the only religion to have flourished in Central Asia and the Caucasus. Prior to the Arab arrival in the seventh century, this region was the main locus of Zoroastrianism. This fundamental religion of both East and West gave the world the concepts of both Heaven (paradise) and Hell, and also of saints, and thus directly inspired Judaism, Christianity and Islam itself. Central Asia was also a great center of Buddhism, the region where that faith was consolidated and codified in a way that enabled it to be transmitted to China, Korea, and Japan. Second, it possessed a strong analytical streak that interacted easily with classical and secular learning. Thank

Judicial Political Murder of President Asif Ali Zardari - Role Of Nawaz Sharif & Implications For the Federation?

By Sikander Hayat Asif Ali Zardari is the democratically elected president of Pakistan. People of Pakistan knew about the NRO but still voted for his party. People like Khwaja Asif of Muslim League (Nawaz) are being hypocritical by asking for Mr Zardari’s resignation because his own party leaders were dismissed twice for corruption in the importing of scrap metal and unfair use of power. The same Nawaz Sharif who is untiring in his demands for the rule of law ordered the attack on Supreme Court of Justice Sajjad Ali Shah when his party member on his orders attacked to stop a hearing of a case about the misuse of powers. People like Khawaja Asif must understand that even though his party leader is a billionaire, he still pays about 5000 rupees worth of tax. If Zardari is a crook, than they all are and Sharif brothers are anything but innocent. People who talk about the removal of Asif Ali Zardari must understand is that they are playing with fire by making demands of him and his party w

Court Blocks British Airways Strike

By Sikander Hayat I believe that this is a very good decision especially for the hundreds of thousands of BA customers whose flights were effected by this action. Hopefully this decision will also stop others who are contemplating such a move. This was an action to force BA administration to take decision which was not in the long term favour of the airline. Hopefully, the union will now review its earlier action and make a better attempt at negotiating with the BA administration.

British Airways In Court

British Airways has started a legal action to stop the Unite union from holding strike at the Christmas time.
