Pakistan: Easy Target

By Sikander Hayat
New York USA
These days it is a custom to present every event in catastrophic terms and the imposition of emergency in Pakistan is just such an event. Throughout its history, Pakistan has seen all sorts of upheavals as any self respecting country would. People seem to forget that every great nation in the world has gone through centuries of extreme blood sheds. For example United States went through a brutal
New York USA Civil War ( between Confederates & Unionists), after wiping out all the indigenous red Indian population and it was not until the end of 2nd world war that it became increasingly successful in economic terms and in political terms.
In France, revolution after revolution spilled blood and gave this country a fertile ground from where the roots of present bliss get their energy from.
New York USA France is going through its fifth republic and no one seems to mind the constitutional changes which happen each time a republic collapse in France.
I can go on and on but my point is this; why in Pakistan, certain sections of society become so selfish that they stop caring about the plight of ordinary Pakistanis. In my experience the masses of the country are still on the side of stability because a stable Pakistan can beat the terrorism more easily than an unstable Pakistan.
Due to the prevalence of idiots who seem to be under the influence of foreign press, each
New York USA time a crisis comes in the country, that is suppose to be the last crisis as it will disintegrate the country and the country will not exist.
I am nearly 27 years old and throughout my life Pakistan had an economic growth rate of 6% or above but also throughout my life these people, who are paid by the enemies to spread gloom in the country, have said that
New York USA Pakistan is going to finish. Well, wake up it has not and it will not because ordinary people know which NGOs are on the payroll of which countries. Who are their enemies and who are their friends.
This is my plea to every Pakistani, living anywhere in the world, Pakistan is a gift to its people, for all of us whoNew York USA live there and who dream about living there. Make the enemies of the country fail in their plans and biggest of these plans is to spread hopelessness in the people of this great country. Look through the mist, open your eyes and live hopeful lives because that is the biggest weapon that we have against our enemies

India: The Terrorists Within

A day after major Indian cities were placed on high alert following blasts in the IT city of Bangalore, as many as 17 blasts ripped through Ahmedabad, capital of the affluent western Indian state of Gujarat . Some 30 people were killed, some at hospitals where bombs were timed to go off when the injured from other blasts were being brought in. (Later, in Surat, a center for the world's diamond industry, a bomb was defused near a hospital and two cars packed with explosives were found in in the city's outskirts.) Investigators pointed fingers at the usual Islamist suspects: Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Bangladesh- based Harkat-ul Jihadi Islami (HUJI) and the indigenous Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). But even as the police searched for clues, the Ahmedabad attacks were owned up by a group calling itself the " Indian Mujahideen. " Several TV news stations received an email five minutes before the first blasts in Ahmedabad. The message repo
