Lahore-based NATION newspaper cracks the current Indian embargo on Khalistani news with a report on Sikh diaspora boycott of 2010 Commonwealth games Indian government is in panic over the planned Sikh diaspora protest campaign to convince Commonwealth countries to boycott the 2010 games in Delhi in which city 10,000 Sikhs were murdered in the November 1984 state-sponsored pogrom
Following the May 5, 2008 report in the NATION Indian government operatives hack the Khalistan Calling website and temporarily disable it but reveal India’s Achilles heel-Tunn’y in chaste Punjabi
Washington D.C. - Our website ( www.khalistan-affairs.org ) has been hacked by the Indian intelligence following publication of a report in Lahore-based NATION newspaper about plans of the diaspora Sikhs to boycott the October 2010 Commonwealth games in Delhi!
Our site is temporarily disabled. The situation will be corrected very soon. However, we thank the Indian hackers for the provocation, which has delivered an opportunity to us on a ‘silver platter’. One is reminded of a line from an essay by that great English philosopher, statesman and essayist, Francis Bacon (1561-1626) which reads that, “A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds.”
What has prompted the Indian intelligence agencies to suddenly wake up in panic and decide that our website, which has been broadcasting the divine Khalistan message, to the world’s 26 million muscular Sikhs, for more than fourteen years, needed to be hacked at this point in time? They could have hacked it at any time in the past so many years. Why now? What scared them? What triggered this stupid panic in Delhi which has made India’s morally repugnant rulers to foolishly expose their Achilles’ heal – “Tunn‘y” in chaste Punjabi? We have put two and two together and believe we may have the answer to these questions.
In our opinion the following comment, and headline, carried in the Khalistan Calling of April 30, 2006, has the answer to the above questions and also has the key to the riddle of why the Indian operatives have acted so foolishly, the way they have, when they hacked our site at this point in time. It is obvious they did not realize that the timing of their hacking effort would reveal their weakness, their Achilles’ heal:-
Excerpt and headline from the April 30, 2008, Khalistan Calling which the Indian government did not want the Sikhs to see Diaspora Sikhs to launch a worldwide campaign to convince Canada, & other countries, to BOYCOTT the 2010 Commonwealth games beingheld in New Delhi where over 10, 000 Sikhs were murdered in a state-sponsored pogrom, in November 1984;and to-date nobody has been found guilty
“It is worth noting that till now, analysts/experts have been talking and writing only of the dangers of cyber-terrorism to states and civil societies. For the first time China, Khalistan’s North Eastern neighbor, has experienced the lethal force of orchestrated ‘Cyber Democracy’. During the international journey of the Olympic torch, a surprised Beijing saw how small bands of internet savvy Tibetans, covertly financed (by not a very large investment) by Indian operatives agents provocateurs, showed how, in this age of the internet, the air waves and the world’s attention can be monopolized and ‘cashed’, by visuals of small colorful protests in different parts of the world.
There is a lesson in the above observation about colorful protests, for the internet savvy, free and prosperous, pro-Khalistan Sikh diaspora. A vast majority of the three million Sikhs domiciled overseas believe that (like the Jewish diaspora which helped create Israel in 1948) they too can help create a prosperous, democratic, food/water-rich, buffer state of Khalistan, in South Asia, located between Pakistan and India which will act as a bridge of peace and commerce between South and Central Asia. Many of the three million strong diaspora Sikhs are domiciled in former British colonies, now member countries of the British Commonwealth, like Canada, U.K., Wales, Northern Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Lesotho, Malawi, Malta, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Trinidad, Pakistan, Fiji, Zambia, et al. who have been invited to take part in the October 2010 Commonwealth games in Delhi. The Indian rulers, an evil nexus of the minority Brahmin and Bania minority communities (which make up only about 5% of India’s population), may have to regret their ‘show-off’ decision to hold the 2010 Commonwealth games in Delhi, where every street and lane witnessed the murder of over ten thousand innocent Sikh, men, women and children in a state-sponsored pogrom, in November 1984. A bloody pogrom ordered, with a ‘wink and nod’, by none other than the then Indian Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi the late husband of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and father of the effeminate high school dropout, 39 years old bachelor ‘Yuvraj’ Rahul Gandhi, the ‘pretender’ who is eyeing the Indian Prime Minister’s ‘throne’.
It is the general belief among the Sikhs that Canada, should show respect for it’s large Sikh-Canadian community by avoiding the October 2010 Commonwealth games being held in Delhi. An evil city, which was ‘painted’ red, in the state-sponsored November 1984 pogrom, with the blood of over ten thousand innocent Sikhs whose surviving relatives, nearly a quarter century later, still cry for justice. No one has been found guilty, nobody has been punished. Even the much trumpeted cash compensation - a paltry sum really - sanctioned by the Indian government for the delayed relief of the survivors, (mostly elderly starving widows) of the November 1984 state-sponsored and state-supervised pogrom has become a scam for greedy, thieving, corrupt Indian officials who are pocketing the measly government grant.
To give ‘teeth’ to the above mentioned general belief among the world’s 26 million Sikhs an action Committee is being formed, from within the 3 million strong Sikh diaspora, which is going to coordinate the launch of a sincere, polite and peaceful world-wide protest effort to convince the Canadian government (and other Commonwealth countries too) that it DOES NOT behoove Canada, a true democracy, a champion of Human Rights, (where every citizen happily enjoys social, economic and political freedom) to participate in the October 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. An international sports meet being organized by the rulers of oligarchic caste-ridden India in blood-soaked New Delhi, a city built over Raisina village land the Colonial British unfairly expropriated, in the early 1900’s from Delhi’s historic Sikh Gurdwara Rakab Gunj.” END OF QUOTE from the April 30, 2008 Khalistan Calling.
Indian intelligence agencies were not the only ones who noticed the above call to the 3 million strong Sikh diaspora to start a 3-years long world-wide peaceful advocacy campaign of protests (in Commonwealth countries, like Canada) to seek justice, and punishment of the guilty, who murdered ten thousand innocent Sikh men, women and children in Delhi, in the November 1984 state-sponsored and state-supervised bloody pogrom. In this age of the internet there are other friends of the Sikhs who too noticed the import of the above story. A correspondent of a Pakistani Lahore-based Sikh-friendly English language newspaper, NATION, with a nose for news, picked the above news-story from the website of ( http://www.panthic.org/ ) one of the dozen other Sikh-owned newspapers, which also carry the weekly Khalistan Calling (column) all over the Sikh diaspora world.
The May 5, 2008, report in the NATION Lahore, which is appended below, answers most of the questions, raised in the second paragraph above, about the riddle as to why the Indian government is suddenly in a panic and has foolishly ordered that the Khalistan Calling site be hacked by its intelligence agencies at this point in time.
All said and done, we THANK the Indian government for its stupidity of hacking our site, which cowardly action will spur the Diaspora Sikhs, domiciled all over the world, to redouble their effort, (to mount even more colorful protests than the Tibetans) and organize media advocacy campaigns in Commonwealth countries, to expose the hypocrisy of the Indian rulers in selecting Delhi (the November 1984 site of Sikh mass murder) as the venue of the October 2010 Commonwealth games. The above-mentioned report published in the May 5, 2008, issue of NATION newspaper is appended below:-

WASHINGTON - Sikhs around the world are preparing to mount a vigorous campaign to persuade Canada into boycotting the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, a city whose streets, they say, are stained with the blood of fellow Sikhs massacred in 1984, according to a California-based paper.
An op-ed in The Panthic Weekly, said an action Committee is being formed, from within the 3 million strong Sikh diaspora overseas, to chalk out a well-coordinated plan for the purpose. Canada has a large Sikh population.
The Sikhs, it said, are agitated as Delhi reminds them of the November 1984 state-sponsored pogrom of November 1984 in which nearly 10,000 of their co-religionists were murdered. “Nearly a quarter century later, surviving relatives of the victims still cry for justice as no one has been found guilty, nobody has been punished,” Dr. Amarjit Singh, Director of Washington-based Khalistan Affairs Center, wrote. “Even the much-trumpeted cash compensation - a paltry sum really - sanctioned by the Indian government for the delayed relief and rehabilitation of the survivors, (mostly elderly starving widows) of the November 1984 tragedy has become a scam for greedy, thieving, corrupt Indian officials.”
The paper said it does not behoove Canada, a true democracy and a champion of human rights, to allow its athletes to set foot on a soil that brings painful memories of their murdered co-religionists, not only to the 750,000 loyal Sikh-Canadians, but Sikhs every where.
