Indian Military Intelligence Services and Hindu Far Right Members of Indian Army Are Involved In the Mumbai Terror Attacks

By Sikander Hayat

The question is who is to benefit most from the terrorist incidences in Mumbai. One thing was on the rise in India before this tragedy happened and that was the growing recognition that parts of Indian Army & Intelligence Agencies are directly involved in some of the terrorist instances happening in India. The capture of Col. Prohit with many of his accomplices by the ATS ( Anti Terrorism Squad) was being deeply criticised by the Indian Army top brass and right wing Hindu political and militant outfits like BJP, Shiv Sena, VHP e.t.c . The leader of the ATS was one of the first people to be killed by the terrorists. Shot in the chest three times to make sure his demise. Do you think this is a coincidence?
There was a growing awareness in India that terrorism comes in all colours; green or saffron. Indian Military Intelligence agencies were feeling very uneasy about this process and wanted to stop it in its tracks. That’s what is going to happen now as without doubt people like Prohit who blew up dozens of civilians in Samjhota Express, who blew up commuter trains and most recently the Malegaon blast will be forgotten and spared as a bigger evil has been invented by the Indian media, its political classes and lapped on by the Western media outlets. Without any verification, Western media is putting anything on the screen which comes from an Indian politician or the same military who has been previously involved in such attacks. They need to do their own investigation before putting their name on the lies which are being put forward.
Secondly, proposals being put forward by Barack Obama and his incoming team to strike a grand bargain in the greater South Asian region, including the resolution of the Kashmir dispute; was too much to handle for the Indian establishment. They called it meddling in their internal affairs and launched a full blown diplomatic drive to stop the incoming American administration from working on any such ideas. Obama even talked about making Bill Clinton his special envoy for Kashmir. What was the better way to nip this idea or any hope of grand reconciliation in the bud than to stage a terrorist incident which can resonate with the Americans and the West in general.
Is this a coincidence?
All the pictures that I have seen so far don’t make me hesitate to say that guys with guns are Indian in origin. Nobody, and I say it again, nobody can transplant hundreds of heavily armed attackers in the most important area of Mumbai without the inside help from the military intelligence. That many people getting off from a small boat (pictures of a small inflatable boat are being shown on the Indian television channels) is impossible. Indian government is on an exercise of making a faulty story credible by adding in new storylines but there is a basic flaw in this story and that is the blaming of Pakistan without any investigation and while the terrorist incident is still going on.
The Indian security establishment is playing with fire by immediately pointing finger at Pakistan as this readiness to blame Pakistan has made me and many observers of the Indian politics nervous because it shows a pre planned intent to kill many birds with one stone.
No more Hindu terror revelations in the press, no more grand bargains in the greater South Asian region to resolve its festering issues like Kashmir, an even more marginalised and repressed Muslim minority in India and most of all a war cry against Pakistan which will help BJP to gain votes from fundamentalist Hindus and bring them back into power.
This is a grand conspiracy to bring BJP (The Hindu fundamentalist party) back to power in India and congress is trying to cut its losses by instantaneously blaming Pakistan. Indian security establishment do not trust Congress and deem it to be soft on terror and this very same Indian security establishment thinks that BJP is the best custodian of the Hindutva agenda and could help them in the marginalisation of Muslims in India.
If we were to accept the official story, than we’ll have to accept a lot of coincidences. Far too many coincidences for my liking!
Now you tell me who is to blame?

India: The Terrorists Within

A day after major Indian cities were placed on high alert following blasts in the IT city of Bangalore, as many as 17 blasts ripped through Ahmedabad, capital of the affluent western Indian state of Gujarat . Some 30 people were killed, some at hospitals where bombs were timed to go off when the injured from other blasts were being brought in. (Later, in Surat, a center for the world's diamond industry, a bomb was defused near a hospital and two cars packed with explosives were found in in the city's outskirts.) Investigators pointed fingers at the usual Islamist suspects: Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Bangladesh- based Harkat-ul Jihadi Islami (HUJI) and the indigenous Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). But even as the police searched for clues, the Ahmedabad attacks were owned up by a group calling itself the " Indian Mujahideen. " Several TV news stations received an email five minutes before the first blasts in Ahmedabad. The message repo...

Pakistan Army Must Not Intervene In The Current Crisis - Who To Blame For the Present Crisis in Pakistan ?

By Sikander Hayat Another day of agony and despair as Pakistanis live through a period of uncertainty but still I believe that army must not intervene in this crisis. These are the kind of circumstances when army need to show their resolve of not meddling in the political sphere of the country. No doubt that there will be people in the corridors of power and beyond who will be urging the army to step in and ‘save’ the country but let me tell you that country will only be saved if army stays away and let the politicians decide the future of the country, even if it means that there will be clashes on the streets of Islamabad. With free media in place, people are watching with open eyes the parts being played by each and every individual in this current saga. They know who is right and who is wrong and they will eventually decide who stays in power when the next general election comes. Who said that democracy was and orderly and pretty business ; it is anything but. Democracy ...
