Cash-starved Kingfisher Airlines may be lobbying hard with the government to permit foreign airlines to invest in domestic carriers, but its flamboyant promoter Vijay Mallya said on Monday global investors do not seem to be confident about investing in India.

Kingfisher which is neck-deep into financial problems, is lobbying hard with the government to allow foreign airlines to invest in domestic carriers.
In his budget speech, finance minister Pranab Mukherjee had said that permitting foreign airlines to buy upto 49% stake in the Indian carriers was under active consideration of the government.
